The Occupational Therapist Assistant works under supervision of an Occupational Therapist to carry out a treatment plan to help patients regain functional independence after loss of function by assisting them with everyday activities such as dressing, feeding, toileting, etc. The Occupational Therapist Assistant works cooperatively with physicians, other therapists and assistants, support staff, case managers, and insurance adjusters. The Occupational Therapist Assistant must also follow required guidelines while maintaining Mercy Regional Medical Center's excellent reputation and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Must maintain valid state Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
Must possess basic computer skills; intermediate skills preferred.
Must possess therapy services knowledge, leadership and delegation skills, and experience.
Must maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel to company locations.
Must maintain current BLS certification.
